VIDEO: Paris is Not Peaceful Again: Clashes Between Protesters and Law Enforcement

The French trade unions continue to protest for the 14th time this year, demanding the cancellation of pension reforms that propose raising the minimum retirement age from 62 to 64.

While the demonstrations in Paris have mostly been peaceful, clashes and riots have erupted in some neighborhoods between law enforcement and protesters. Demonstrators have set vehicles on fire, hurled stones, and fought with police. The authorities responded with tear gas, leading to several arrests.

According to media reports, passengers at Orly Airport in the capital faced difficulties as several flights were canceled. Approximately 4,000 law enforcement officers were deployed to ensure the safety of citizens during the demonstration. Protests also took place in other major cities across France.
