It Turns Out the Thief is a 19-Year-Old Girl from Yerevan

On June 4, a woman called the Operational Management Center of the Police of the Kotayk region, reporting that her gold jewelry had been stolen the previous day. She also mentioned that her residence had been robbed periodically in the past, but she had not reported it to the police.

Police officials state that detectives from the Kotayk Police department acted swiftly and identified that the theft from the specified residence on Chayich Street in Abovyan was committed by a 19-year-old resident of Yerevan.

She was discovered, arrested, and taken to the Kotayk Police department on the morning of June 5, where she confessed to the theft, stating that she had pawned the stolen items at one of the pawn shops in Abovyan.

The 19-year-old girl and the relevant documents have been submitted to the investigative department of Abovyan. A criminal case has been initiated.
