Court in Ulyanovsk Sentences Apple Cider Producer Responsible for 30 Deaths to Prison

The Ulyanovsk court has remanded businessman Anar Huseynov, the producer of Mister Cider drinks, into custody for two months. During the hearing, the entrepreneur denied his guilt.

It is important to note that due to counterfeit cider, 30 people have already lost their lives: 20 in the Ulyanovsk region, seven in the Samara region, two in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and one in Udmurtia. Specialists from Rospotrebnadzor have already seized 37,600 liters of the dangerous beverage.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the deaths, leading to the detention not only of businessman Huseynov but also of two managers from his company and the chief accountant.
