Another Young Wrestler Dies from Tragic Accident on Garni Road

On June 3, at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center in Yerevan, 8-year-old Sargis O. from the Ararat region passed away without regaining consciousness, according to Shamshyan.com.

Sargis was transferred to the medical center on May 27 due to injuries sustained in a tragic car accident on the Artashat-Garni highway.

According to sources, the deceased Sargis O. was the son of 38-year-old Artyom Ordian, the driver of a VAZ 2106 vehicle, who died at the scene.

As previously reported, on June 1, 12-year-old Robert A., also from the Ararat region, succumbed in the hospital. He had been transferred on May 27 following a tragic accident involving a 06 vehicle and a Volkswagen on the Garni-Artashat highway.

The driver of the 06 vehicle died at the scene, while seven individuals, including Robert A., were hospitalized. They were on their way to Garni village to participate in a wrestling competition.
