Video: Commander of the 3rd Army Corps Discusses the Situation at the Northeastern Border
The commander of Armenia's 3rd Army Corps, Aleksandr Tsakanian, presented the operational and tactical situation at the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as the combat readiness of the units under the military formation and the morale of the personnel.
"The enemy's combat positions at the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border are located at various distances, ranging from 480 meters to 1700 meters. In light of the recent developments, the operational-tactical situation is assessed as relatively stable. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded by the enemy as such; they are mainly engaged in routine combat duty. The local population in the border settlements occupied by the enemy continues with their daily lives. No operationally significant works are being conducted in the area and, at present, no signs of preparations for combat actions have been observed," said Tsakanian during a press briefing with reporters, as reported by Armenpress.
