Video: All Possible Threats to Armenia's Democracy Are External, Says Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at the 'Armenian Forum on Democracy' that the internet in Armenia is free, the press is free, and elections are free.
Pashinyan stated that democracy is Armenia's fundamental brand. He emphasized that this is their conviction and strategy. 'I believe that the high economic growth we currently have is also a result of economic freedoms, because if the economy were manageable and controlled by the state, I think we would have faced very serious and deep problems, especially in the post-war period. However, since these freedoms have reached the level of the economy, they came to our aid at the most critical and decisive moment.'
Nikol Pashinyan highlighted that there are no internal threats to democracy in Armenia. 'All possible threats to Armenia's democracy are external, and these threats are well-known and visible to everyone.'
