US Authorities Do Not Condone Attacks 'Within Russia'

US authorities do not encourage attacks within the territory of the Russian Federation, the White House announced on Tuesday, commenting on the drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow region.

“We have seen the reports and are still gathering information about what has occurred. Overall, we do not welcome attacks inside Russia,” a White House representative is quoted as saying by Western media.

The statement emphasized that the US is “focused on providing Ukraine with equipment and training that is necessary for reclaiming its sovereign territory.”

On Tuesday morning, a drone attack was carried out on Moscow. Some of the drones slightly damaged buildings.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that of the eight Ukrainian drones, three were suppressed in Moscow, and five were shot down in the Moscow region.

Moscow’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that two people sought medical assistance, but no one required hospitalization.

The Russian Investigative Committee has classified the drone attack on Moscow and the surrounding area as an act of terrorism.
