NATO to Deploy 700 Troops to Kosovo

NATO will deploy an additional 700 troops to Kosovo for security reasons and will prepare another battalion for deployment if necessary. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during a press conference in Oslo on Tuesday, as reported by TASS.

“NATO forces in Kosovo will undertake all necessary actions to ensure the safety of the entire population in the region,” Stoltenberg said. He noted that NATO will send an additional 700 troops to Kosovo and will increase the readiness level of another battalion, which will be deployed if needed.
