Fatal Car Accident in Dzoraghbyur: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

On May 26, a tragic car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 19:30, in the village of Dzoraghbyur, near the municipal building, a collision took place between a 'GAZ 66' and a Renault vehicle.

According to Shamshyan.com, one person died at the scene, whose body was found outside the vehicle, while another individual was first given initial medical assistance by the emergency crew from the Abovyan Medical Center and then transported to the hospital.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the Abovyan Investigative Division regarding the incident. The police and the Investigative Division are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured parties.

As a result of the collision, the Renault veered off the roadway and ended up overturned on a resident's land.
