Unprecedented Water Scarcity in Artsakh: Scheduled Power Outages Three Times a Day by 'Artsakhenergo'

Due to unprecedented water scarcity, the output of the existing hydroelectric power plants does not allow for electric supply according to the current schedule. Starting from May 26 of this year, a new schedule will come into effect.

This was announced by the 'Artsakhenergo' company, detailing that scheduled outages will be carried out in three groups. Accordingly, the first group includes the Askeran region and the urban overhead lines: 7, 15, 19, 17, 13, 28, 29, 30, 27, 26, 10, 25. The second group encompasses the Martuni region with urban overhead lines: 6, 19, 12, 14, 16, while the third group includes the Martakert region with urban overhead lines: 1, 4, 5, 11, 18, 3, 2.

'Each group will be disconnected three times a day for two hours each,' the company added, also publishing the new schedule for the outages.

According to the schedule for May 26, the first group will experience outages from 07:00 to 09:00, 13:00 to 15:00, and 19:00 to 21:00; the second group from 09:00 to 11:00, 15:00 to 17:00, and 21:00 to 23:00; and the third group from 11:00 to 13:00, 17:00 to 19:00, and 23:00 to 01:00.
