‘We Stand for Long-term Peace in the South Caucasus’ Says Cavusoglu
The residents of the South Caucasus wish to finally live in an atmosphere of safety and peace. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
“Baku is ready for peace and offers a comprehensive peace agreement,” he said, emphasizing the importance of discussing and signing such an agreement.
“We stand for long-term peace in the South Caucasus. Turkey also supports positive steps to be taken between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” said the Turkish minister.
According to Cavusoglu, Ankara expects sincerity from Yerevan toward peace efforts. He emphasized that Turkey has always stood by Azerbaijan and will continue to support Baku.
