It Will Be Difficult to Catch Up with Armenia, Says Putin

It will be difficult for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) to catch up with Armenia, whose GDP growth has exceeded 12%. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting of the expanded format of the Eurasian Economic Supreme Council.

“It will be difficult for Armenia to catch up. Today we have noted this. This is a very high, very serious indicator,” said Putin.

According to Putin, the EEU countries will jointly strive to ensure that the level of development within the union is equally high.

It should be noted that the next meeting of the Eurasian Economic Supreme Council is currently taking place in Moscow, which is also attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
