Two More Articles of the Peace Agreement Draft Have Been Agreed Upon: Mirzoyan
In Washington, progress was made in the negotiations regarding the peace agreement, as it became possible to agree on two more articles of the draft. However, direct, lengthy, and sincere discussions were held regarding several other articles, stated Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference with Leo Docherty, the UK Minister for Europe.
"I can say that during these discussions, the parties understand each other's concerns, intentions, and perceptions very well. Besides the two articles I mentioned, I believe there is a probability of agreement on the other articles as well. This is not just my assessment; I have been assured of this by the other side as well.
Of course, there are articles and topics where the positions of the parties remain quite far apart. These are the articles that pertain to the most difficult issues. However, effective discussions have taken place in this regard as well," said Mirzoyan.
