EU to Send More Air Defense Systems and Other Weapons to Kyiv

The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, has announced that the EU intends to expand military assistance to Ukraine by sending more air defense systems and other weaponry.

“The success of Ukraine's defense depends not only on the people but also on the supply of ammunition and weapons. Therefore, military assistance must continue, intensify, and expand, with more air defense systems playing their role on the battlefield,” he stated, as quoted by TASS.

Borrell emphasized that this is extremely necessary. Earlier, he mentioned that the foreign ministers of EU countries will discuss a new military aid package for Ukraine and anti-Russian sanctions.
