Armenia Appeals to The Hague Court for the Second Time on Lachin Issues
After establishing a checkpoint on the Armenia-Azerbaijan road, Armenia has appealed to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for the second time.
Yerevan expects The Hague to apply interim measures against Baku to ensure unimpeded movement through the Lachin corridor until a final ruling on our claim is issued. This was reported by 1lurer.am.
“The Office of Armenia's Representative on International Legal Issues has also raised the issue of Azerbaijan's irresponsibility at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Baku not only fails to comply with the interim decisions of the ICJ but also ignores the rulings of the ECHR. This fact has been presented by our representatives to the monitoring body responsible for the enforcement of judgments - the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe,” the website stated.
