We have lost our most precious, we are fighting so that there are no new casualties: Father of a soldier fallen in the 44-day war
We have entered a struggle for which our boys went, and they went knowingly - this is about the homeland, the state, and the family. This is what Ara Rostomyan, the father of a soldier who fell in the 44-day war, said in a conversation with reporters, after spending the night near the government building.
“We have repeatedly stated that we have lost our most precious, we are fighting so that there are no new casualties, and let every parent first think of their child. We have entered a struggle for which our boys went, and they went knowingly - this is about the homeland, the state, and the family. They went with this idea, and we continue their work so that we do not lose the homeland and restore the state. I think there is no state; only territory remains, and we are trying to turn this territory into a state. We will do everything to continue the unfinished work of our boys because they cannot anymore,” he said.
Ara Rostomyan noted that they have a plan of action, which they will publish later. “We asked Gayane to refrain from her hunger strike, and she advised us not to back down from the fight,” he added.
It is noteworthy that Gayane Hakobyan, the mother of Zhora Martirosyan, who was killed in the 44-day war, has been arrested for a month. Currently, her supporters are holding a protest demanding the immediate release of the fallen soldier's mother.
