Lawyers to Appeal Court's Decision on Gayane Hakobyan's Detention

Lawyers will appeal the court's decision to detain Gayane Hakobyan, the mother of soldier Zhora Martirosyan who was killed in the 44-day war, at the Court of Appeals tomorrow. Lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan informed Sputnik Armenia about this.

“We are currently working on the appeal. We will submit the appeal to the court at 9:00 AM tomorrow,” he said.

According to him, the reasoning behind the detention was unclear, as the proceedings and discussions could not have led to such a decision. The actual process of the request demonstrated that the grounds for detention are entirely absent.
