Man Arriving from the USA Brutally Murdered His Aunt in Ashtarak

A man arriving from the USA brutally murdered his aunt in Ashtarak, delivering multiple knife strikes and cutting her neck. This information has been reported by shamshyan.com. According to the website, the incident occurred on May 19.

The victim is identified as 56-year-old Silvard K., a resident of the same city.

“The man suspected of the murder had returned to Armenia just days ago from the United States, initially staying at the ‘Metropol’ hotel complex. He then traveled to Ashtarak to visit his aunt, where he committed the murder with extreme brutality. Afterward, he changed his appearance, shaved his hair, purchased new clothes from one of the shops in Ashtarak, and returned to Yerevan in an attempt to fly back to the United States,” the media outlet writes.

However, the police managed to apprehend 41-year-old Armond A., a citizen of the United States, right at the hotel where he was staying.
