Nikol Pashinyan to Attend the National Assembly

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that next week will be heated in the National Assembly (NA) as the next sessions will commence on Tuesday. Additionally, 28 draft bills have been submitted for approval by the NA Council, including annual reports from the Audit Chamber and the Central Bank, as well as elections for a member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission and judges of the Court of Cassation. On Monday, the execution of the 2022 budget will start in the parliamentary committees, traditionally attended by the Prime Minister.

However, it is noteworthy that the agenda submitted for approval by the NA Council does not include the draft of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court or the draft to dismiss Tigran Tovmasyan from the position of head of the NA Human Rights Committee. This comes after the ruling party members claimed that the draft was under development and would be presented at the next sessions starting on Tuesday.
