Mirzoyan Holds Phone Conversation with Acting US Assistant Secretary of State

On May 13, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Derek Hogan, the Acting US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. During the call, the interlocutors discussed issues related to regional stability and security.

Minister Mirzoyan presented the situation created by the provocative and aggressive actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia in recent days, emphasizing that these actions aim to disrupt efforts to continue peaceful negotiations.

Ideas were exchanged on the need to address the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
