Pashinyan Visits Brussels

Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has traveled to Brussels for a working visit from May 13 to 14. This information has been reported by the Prime Minister's press service.

"Nikol Pashinyan will first meet with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, followed by a trilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of the European Council, and the President of Azerbaijan," the statement said.

Various media outlets have reported today that prior to the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President Charles Michel of the European Commission will hold separate meetings with each of them.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the 'Financial Times' reported on the Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting, mentioning that the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan are also scheduled to meet on June 1 with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron during the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova.

On February 18, 2023, during the Munich Security Conference, a meeting took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, mediated by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

On May 1, a bilateral meeting was held in Arlington, USA, between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, respectively. On the same day, a trilateral meeting took place in Washington between Ararat Mirzoyan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. After several days of negotiations, the discussions concluded on May 4.
