Pernod Ricard Suspends Alcohol Supply to Russia

The French Pernod Ricard group has suspended the supply of alcoholic beverages to Russia. "Pernod Ricard can confirm that as of the end of April 2023, it has stopped all supplies of its international brands to Russia," the company's statement reads.

It has been reported that it will take several months for the company to cease sales in Russia. It is noteworthy that in April, the Swedish Absolut, which is part of the group, also ceased supplies to the Russian Federation. Previously, the company announced that it would partially resume its product exports to the Russian market, but this stirred a strong reaction in Sweden, leading to the decision to halt supplies.
