“Shots Fire Every 5 Minutes, The Situation in the Village is Still Normal”: Sotk Resident
Residents have not been evacuated from the community and are busy with their daily activities. This was stated by Armen Martirosyan, a resident of Sotk, in an interview with Aysor.am.
“However, shots are fired every 5 minutes, mainly around the mine and near the Norabak community. The situation in the village is still normal; people are attending to their tasks—they are planting potatoes. Now, it is uncertain what will happen in the evening; I can’t say,” added the resident. “For example, I have taken my livestock out to the field; I don’t know if there are classes at school or not. There may be people who have left, but there is movement in the village,” he noted.
It is noteworthy that as of 07:50, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces continue to fire artillery and mortar shells towards the Armenian positions located in the Sotk area.
