Lenin Statue Damaged in Mariupol
In Mariupol, hooligans have damaged a statue of Vladimir Lenin, which was returned to its pedestal after the city came under the control of the Russian Federation. This was reported to TASS on Thursday by Mariupol's mayor, Oleg Morgun.
“A few months ago, local residents brought the Lenin statue and placed it on the old pedestal, and it had been standing there since then. Today, someone broke it,” the city leader stated.
It is important to note that the war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 442 days.
