Over 58 Million Dram Bonuses from January to March This Year, Says Yerevan Council Member

58,175,280 dram. This is the amount distributed as bonuses by the Yerevan Municipality from January to the end of March 2023. Yerevan Council member Izabella Abgaryan shared this information on her Facebook page.

“This data was officially provided to me in response to my inquiry on March 20. Below, I also present the amounts and recipients of bonuses given in 2022. March 2023 has been record-breaking in terms of the amount of money distributed.”

“Let me remind you that when the Yerevan Council significantly raised salaries, it was argued that bonuses would only be given in exceptional cases for employment success. As you can see, this is not the case, and the community budget continues to serve as a source of bonuses for certain officials,” wrote the council member.
