The Case of Desecration of Soldiers' Bodies in Abovyan's Morgue to Be Reexamined

The case regarding the desecration of soldiers' bodies at the morgue in the city of Abovyan, Kotayk province, will be reexamined. This was reported by lawyer Garik Galikyan on his Facebook page.

"In 2021, I submitted a report concerning the desecration of our soldiers' bodies at the Abovyan morgue. Of course, like all similar cases, this one was also forgotten, but I found it important to inform you. The Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk province had dismissed our appeal against the investigator's and prosecutor's decisions. An appeal was filed against that court's decision. The Court of Appeals of Armenia, presided over by Judge A. Hovhannisyan, has accepted our appeal and, having overturned the decision of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk province, has sent the case back to the same court for a new examination," he wrote.
