National Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan on the Demand to Dismantle 'Nemesis'

The normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations should be without preconditions. This was stated today by the Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, in Victory Park.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced that Armenia must dismantle the monument in Yerevan dedicated to the heroes of the 'Nemesis' operation.

"The issue of the monument is an internal matter for Armenia, and no one has the right to interfere in such matters," Grigoryan said.

It was previously reported that on April 29, Ankara, without prior notice, revoked the permission previously granted to Flyone Armenia to operate flights over Turkish airspace to Europe, explaining this decision by the opening of the monument dedicated to the heroes of the 'Nemesis' operation in Yerevan.

It is noteworthy that official Ankara, through Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, has demanded the dismantling of the monument installed in Yerevan.
