Belarus Announces Prevention of Terrorist Attacks

The law enforcement agencies in Belarus have prevented terrorist attacks. This was announced by the head of the country's KGB, Ivan Tertel, according to Sputnik Belarus.

"Yes, these were attempts to carry out terrorist attacks, and this was related to May 9," Tertel told reporters.

He noted that those involved in illegal activities have been detained, while also adding that the head of state is aware of this situation.

Earlier, it was reported that Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko's health deteriorated during a working visit to Russia. The information was published on May 9 by political scientist Dmitry Bolkunets.

According to the latest data, the politician was unable to attend the informal meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries who arrived in Moscow to participate in the Victory Parade.

After the solemn event, Lukashenko left Russia on a plane in haste. At the same time, it was reported that doctors accompanied him on the way to the airport.
