Azerbaijan Will Not Succeed in This: Ruben Vardanyan

Azerbaijani forces are doing everything they can to divide you and make you leave from here: this was stated by former Prime Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan during a rally organized by the initiative group demanding “NO to the Ethnic Cleansing of Artsakh” on May 9 in Stepanakert, addressing Russian peacekeepers.

“The Azerbaijanis are doing everything to discourage Armenians, but this will not succeed. Azerbaijan will not be able to remove the peacekeepers from here. I am confident you understand this as well, and we must stand together for you to fulfill your obligations, to act as you should. I know it is difficult, but you must do it, and we will stand next to you.

I call on international organizations and the leaders of different countries: Azerbaijan is spitting on you, saying it will not obey any court decisions. Do you not have the power to say, ‘Azerbaijan, who are you? Fulfill what you have signed,’” he said.
