EU Proposes Sanctions on Chinese Companies Trading with Russia

The European Union has proposed sanctions against Chinese companies supplying equipment used in armaments to Russia. This was reported by the "Financial Times," which obtained a draft list of sanctions prepared by the European Commission.

The new package of restrictive measures, which will be discussed by EU member states in the coming days, lists seven companies from China, several of which are already under U.S. sanctions. These companies manufacture semiconductors, microchips, and other electronic products.

Included are two Chinese companies, 3HC Semiconductors and King-Pai Technology, as well as five companies from Hong Kong: Sinno Electronics, Sigma Technology, Asia Pacific Links, Tordan Industry, and Alpha Trading Investments.
