Airline Fails to Land in Dubai Due to Document Issues
On May 7, an aircraft of Flyone Armenia was denied entry into Dubai. The flight from Yerevan to Dubai was forced to land at Shiraz Airport in Iran.
The chairman of Flyone Armenia's board, Aram Ananyan, stated in an interview with Hraparak that Dubai's air traffic controllers did not allow the airline's plane into Dubai's airspace due to reasons that require further clarification.
The aircraft's captain decided to land at Shiraz Airport until the issue is resolved. Ananyan did not specify what additional clarification was needed, stating he was unaware of the details.
According to the Civil Aviation Committee, document-related issues arose with Flyone Armenia, which is why the aircraft did not land in Dubai. "There were document issues, but that does not mean there were fewer documents; rather, specific problems emerged because two planes were registered. Flights have consistently been conducted with the first aircraft, but this time they decided to carry out the flight with the second aircraft. As a result, issues related to documents arose in Dubai," officials from the Civil Aviation Committee reported.
