Turkey Has Closed Airspace for Pashinyan's Aircraft as Well, Says Cavusoglu
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated in an interview with Turkish 24TV that Armenia is inconsistent in its statements and the policies it pursues. He made this remark while commenting on Turkey's closure of its airspace to Armenian aircraft and the reasons behind it.
“Sometimes you see a positive statement and suddenly a completely contrary action. Unfortunately, we don’t see the sincerity we wish for. The Armenia-Azerbaijan-Turkey cooperation most benefits Armenia. They came to help during the earthquake. The Foreign Minister came to Ankara, and we expressed our gratitude. But now they have erected a monument to the killers of our diplomats. We made gestures. We had opened our airspace, but now we have closed it. We have also closed it for VIP aircraft, including Pashinyan’s aircraft,” said Cavusoglu.
