The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reported that on May 5, at 09:21, a call was received at the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center regarding a submerged vehicle in the Azat Reservoir that required the assistance of rescuers.

Rescue teams retrieved an 'Izh' brand car from the reservoir.
