Russia to Send Protest Note to Poland Over School Seizure, Andreyev
The Russian embassy in Poland will send a protest note on May 2 regarding the forcible seizure of a Russian diplomatic school. This was stated to RIA Novosti by the Russian Ambassador to Poland, Sergey Andreyev.
“We will send the note, apparently, on Tuesday. Today there is no place to even deliver the protest note,” the diplomat announced. Andreyev reminded that Polish state institutions will only start working on May 2.
It is noted that on April 29, representatives of the Warsaw city hall, along with law enforcement, invaded the premises of the Russian embassy's school. Employees of the diplomatic mission and school staff refused to voluntarily open the gates, after which the Polish authorities began to break down the doors.
