Prime Minister Pashinyan Discusses Regional Issues with Secretary Blinken
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The two discussed the established military-political and humanitarian situation in the region.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the actions of the Azerbaijani side in the Lachin corridor are aimed at carrying out ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh and fully depopulating the region of Armenians.
He highlighted the importance of an adequate response from the international community to Azerbaijan's destabilizing actions towards regional security and the need for concrete steps towards the unconditional implementation of the International Court of Justice's ruling.
They also exchanged views on the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiation process, including discussions set to take place in Washington soon. The parties underscored the importance of consistent efforts to ensure stability and peace in the region.
Other humanitarian issues were also addressed during the conversation.
