Marathon Participant Completes 42.2 Kilometers and Dies on the Way Home
A participant in the London Marathon has tragically died on his way home after completing the race. According to Insider, 45-year-old Steve Hanks crossed the finish line in under three hours, completing the 42.2 kilometers in 2:53:26.
The event organizers have noted that the man was an experienced runner, having participated in numerous marathons throughout his career.
