Armenia Expects Support from France, Says Grigoryan

Armenia's Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, believes that France can be instrumental in addressing both the security challenges faced by Armenia and the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This was reported by Armenpress.

Grigoryan expressed this opinion during a conversation with journalists in Jermuk. “France can definitely be useful in a number of issues and assist Armenia. As you know, the EU civilian mission was sent to Armenia as a result of the meeting in Prague, where the French president played a significant role. France continues to seek ways to assist Armenia. Also, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, it remains interested in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. You are aware that the French co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group has also arrived in Armenia along with the French Foreign Minister. At this moment, we see great interest from France in resolving the situation in the Lachin corridor,” said Grigoryan.

He added that Armenia is working intensively with its international partners to send an international fact-finding mission to the Lachin corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh, noting that this issue is also being discussed with France and they expect to receive support.
