Passport Extension for Armenian Citizens Living in Artsakh Not Possible After Expiration

“It is not possible to carry out the extension of passports for individuals living in Artsakh but holding Armenian citizenship once they expire. As a result, it becomes impossible to maintain the validity of bank cards and transfers of pensions coming from Armenia,” said Arshak Abrahamyan, the Chairman of the Justice Party in Artsakh, on his Facebook page.

“The Armenian government has effectively washed its hands of Artsakh and is also not interested in the fate of Armenian citizens residing here,” he added.
