No Danger Associated with Acute Odor in Administrative Districts, Says Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations

No danger is associated with the acute odor present in the Avan, Kanaker-Zeitun, Arabkir, and Davtashen administrative districts. On April 24 at 15:28, the National Crisis Management Center received multiple reports regarding a strong gas odor in the buildings of these districts in Yerevan.

In response, two firefighting teams from the Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the specified areas. At 16:30, information was received from the gas emergency service indicating that the issue was related to an increased level of odorization in the gas supply system. No danger was reported.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations advises citizens to ventilate the area.
