Relatives of 15 Soldiers Killed in Azat Village Block Amiryan Street
Relatives of 15 soldiers who died in a fire at the military barracks in Azat village have blocked Amiryan Street.
They had given time for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan or Defence Minister Suren Papikyan to meet with them, but neither has met with the parents.
“As of now, there has been no official response regarding whether there will be a meeting or not,” lawyer Norik Norikian, who represents the interests of the soldiers’ parents, stated in a conversation with reporters in front of the government building.
Earlier, we reported that the relatives of the soldiers killed in Azat had blocked the street adjacent to the Government. They are demanding answers from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Defence Minister Suren Papikyan regarding the circumstances of their sons' deaths.
