Elon Musk Loses $12.6 Billion in a Single Day

American businessman Elon Musk has lost 7% of his wealth in a single day following the release of Tesla's financial report and the explosion of the Starship rocket, according to data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI). This was reported by Prime.

On April 20, the most powerful spacecraft produced by SpaceX, the Starship rocket, exploded during launch at an altitude of approximately 38 kilometers.

On the same day, Musk's other company, electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, reported a 24% reduction in profits, leading to a 9.75% drop in the company's stock prices.

According to BBI data, Musk's net worth was reduced by $12.6 billion (7%), marking the largest single-day loss in the world. Currently, the businessman's net worth is estimated at $164 billion.
