Davtashen Central Park to be Transformed, Says Tigran Avinyan

The central park located between the 1st and 2nd districts of Davtashen will be completely transformed, with 632 million drams allocated for its reconstruction from the 10 billion drams provided by the Executive. This was stated by Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan on his Facebook page.

“Our next stop on the tours was the Davtashen administrative district. During the visit, we spoke with residents, familiarized ourselves with their pressing issues, and discussed possible solutions. We also visited kindergarten No. 61, which will open its doors this year with new and comfortable conditions, accommodating 360 children instead of the previous 240,” he wrote.

The central park's renovation is a significant part of the community's development plans. Avinyan highlighted that there will also be discussions on the bypass road project for the Yegvard highway, set to begin next year. This will ensure a logical continuation of Sasna Tsrer Street through the former village area of Davtashen. Both proposed road projects aimed at alleviating transport flows will be developed this year,” he added, sharing photographs from the visit.
