72-Year-Old Man Wanted by Interpol Found in Yerevan

A 72-year-old man wanted by Interpol has been found in Yerevan. This was reported by the police of the Republic of Armenia.

Thanks to joint measures taken by the detectives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the RA Police and the Mashtots Police Department, on April 17, Stepan T. was discovered, arrested, and transferred to the Mashtots Police Department in the courtyard of one of the buildings on Halabyan Street.

The 72-year-old man had been wanted internationally by Interpol since April 12 and is accused of several articles of the criminal code of the French Republic.

The measure of restraint is detention.

The discovery of the individual has been reported to the Interpol National Central Bureau in Armenia, as noted in the statement.
