Gor Sahakyan Wins Gold Medal in Snatch at European Weightlifting Championship

In the ongoing European Weightlifting Championship in Yerevan, Gor Sahakyan, representing Armenia, has won a gold medal in the snatch event. He competed in the 67 kg weight category.

Sahakyan's initial lift was set at 140 kg. During his first attempt, he successfully lifted the requested weight overhead, and in his second attempt, he raised 145 kg, securing the gold medal in the snatch event.

For his third attempt, Sahakyan aimed for 147 kg, which would have established a new world and European youth record. Unfortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful.
