The decision by France's Constitutional Council to legally recognize the pension reform bill has sparked yet another wave of intense protests in Paris, reports РИА Новости.

Protesters initially gathered outside the Paris City Hall and then dispersed throughout the city. They marched through the streets, set garbage bins on fire, and smashed shop windows.

The police used tear gas against the protesters. In several intersections, officers cordoned off protesters, blocking their movements. Fire brigades have been working to extinguish the blazes that erupted.
