Tatoyan Releases Photos from Tegh, Aravus, and Kornidzor Villages

Former Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan has published photographs from the villages of Tegh, Aravus, and Kornidzor in the Syunik region and has made a statement.

“Since early morning, we have been conducting fact-finding activities in the villages of Tegh, Kornidzor, and Aravus in Syunik. We have documented evidence of Azerbaijani criminal incursions into the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia in the Tegh community area of Syunik. The facts confirm that the illegal presence of Azerbaijani armed personnel has made it impossible for people to live normal, safe lives; they are unable to use their pastures and arable lands that belong to them legally. Even the homes of peaceful residents, their adjacent land, schools, and kindergartens are under Azerbaijani target.

Additionally, this is compounded by the anti-Armenian and hostile policies of the Azerbaijani authorities, the impunity for the crimes committed by Azerbaijani armed personnel against our people, and the direct protection that both the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Border Guard troops provide to the civilian population from Azerbaijani criminal acts. Therefore, the lives and health of our armed forces are also under direct international protection. The results of the visit will be analyzed in more detail according to special principles, compiled, and published in a report,” he stated, adding that these will also be sent to international organizations.
