VIDEO: Armenian Government Session Kicked Off with a Minute of Silence
The regular session of the Armenian government began today with a minute of silence. The cabinet honored the memory of Armenian soldiers who lost their lives due to Azerbaijani provocations on April 11.
During the government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the incident recorded in the vicinity of Tegh village, stating that it requires a thorough investigation, including an assessment of our actions regarding the protection of the state border.
It is worth noting that Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on Armenian military personnel conducting engineering works in the Tegh community on April 11 at around 16:00. The Armenian side responded with countermeasures.
Around 17:30, Azerbaijani units used mortars. As a result of the provocation from the Azerbaijani side, the Armenian side suffered 4 fatalities and 6 injuries.
