Instead, they bet that they will open a criminal case if it is measured and found that the citizen is correct (the quality is not an issue). Do you understand what this means? Today they measured, and according to Arthur, the bet was lost by the citizen. The day before, he was not allowed to film his meeting with Avinyan and the head of the administrative district on the same issue. Instead, they said that the budget has increased so much that 24 million drams is not a large amount."

It is noted that this concerns the area around the statue of Gayi. In a video spreading online, construction worker Arthur Chakhoyan speaks about the bet: "We were supposed to come today, measure with the contractor. I came with documents and a meter, we measured, and I assure you, we lost that bet. The volumes did not match according to the volume sheet, which stated 1950 square meters. Yesterday, during the meeting, the head of the administrative district, Armen Meheryan, said that these measurements are actually more than what exists. We lost the bet, and I hope Tigran Avinyan will fulfill the promise regarding the bet, as they said a criminal case will be opened concerning the contractor."

It should be noted that user Eduard Hayrumyan also posted on his Facebook page, sharing the background of the issue, stating that on the proposal of Armen Meheryan, the head of Nor Nork, and with the agreement of Tigran Avinyan, they “made a bet”, according to which a representative of the Municipality and Arthur will measure the surface around the statue of Gayi according to the execution, and if Hayrumyan is correct, a criminal case will be initiated and the guilty parties will be punished. If he is wrong, he will publicly apologize in the same manner.
