VIDEO. Azerbaijan has taken direct observation of the road connecting Stepanakert with Hin Shen and Mets Shen villages

During a government session, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. In his speech, the Prime Minister particularly noted:

“The developments surrounding the Lachin corridor, which connects Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia, in the past week are as follows: Azerbaijan not only continued its illegal blockade but also carried out another incursion into Nagorno-Karabakh, within the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces. This has also been officially reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In that report, it specifically states: ‘On March 25, 2023, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the first point of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, crossed the contact line in the Shushi area, occupied the height 20/54, and began engineering works. Azerbaijan was presented with the necessity to comply with the provisions of the trilateral statement, to cease engineering works, and to return the units to their initial positions.’”

We can note that Azerbaijan is not only failing to comply with the decisions of the International Court of Justice but is also further exacerbating the situation by taking steps aimed at blocking internal transport communications in Nagorno-Karabakh. From that height, Azerbaijan has taken direct observation of the road connecting Stepanakert with Hin Shen and Mets Shen villages. This is allegedly explained by the transfer of weapons and personnel to Nagorno-Karabakh, but this information is absolutely inconsistent with reality.”
