Video: A Cascade Based on Tamanyan Motivations Will Be Built, Says Avinyan

This year, the park located between St. Sargis Church and Davit Bek Street in Nor Nork will be renovated. This was announced today, April 13, during a government meeting by Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

“This will be the construction of a cascade inspired by Tamanyan's designs. The area covers 1.4 hectares, and this section will be significantly greened,” said the Deputy Mayor.

Avinyan also noted that improvement works will be carried out in the surrounding area of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church. These projects have also been discussed with the Supreme Patriarch, and their consent has been received.

“This year, we will hand over 22 renovated kindergartens in Yerevan, and we plan to commission 33 kindergartens next year. We are constructing new roads; specifically, a road from Grigor Hovsepian Street to Saralanj in the Norq-Marash administrative district,” Avinyan highlighted.

It is important to note that during its session on April 13, the government decided to allocate approximately 10 billion drams for addressing urgent issues in Yerevan. For more details, watch the video.
